Future Homebuyer Programs

The Future Homebuyer Program is designed to help teach high school students the importance of budgeting, the use of credit and the ramifications of abuse of credit, and inform them of some of the everyday legal concerns they may soon face. The goal is to promote financial responsibility and position the student for what is, most likely, the largest investment they will make in their life . . . buying a home of their own.

The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Mortgage Bankers Association and the Pennsylvania Partnership for Economic Education, is offering the Program to school districts throughout the Commonwealth either as an assembly or classroom presentation. Members of the local lending and legal communities will make the presentations.

If you would like to discuss having the presentation made in high schools in your area, please contact Terri Redmond at 717.780.3907.
